President of ACT
Welcome to the Academy of Career Training. Since 1995, it has been my
pleasure to participate in the career development of hundreds of
fantastic students. The Academy has grown at an amazing rate. As part of
this growth, we have implemented a vast array of courses with the
express aim of giving our students the most comprehensive foundation
possible in the art of cosmetology
I am equally proud of our former students who have achieved professional
excellence in the career tracks that we presently offer. Many have won
numerous accolades and awards in professional competitions. Others have
achieved success in salon management and ownership.
It is my greatest desire that you find our services and facilities to be
the best in the industry. We have worked hard to ensure that our
learning environment is comprehensive, supportive and satisfying. It is
my firm belief that the only requirement for success is, quite simply,
the desire to succeed.

attended the Academy of Career Training in the Nail
Technician course. It was a wonderful experience for me
with its hands on training, professional personnel and
high quality products. I had the opportunity to do my
hours on a part time basis as I am a single mom and I
had to work full time. The academy trained me to go out
into the field as a professional. Today, four years
later, I have the privilege to say that I am part of the
staff of the academy to which I am very proud to be a
